On Monday the 6th of July, The Muse\u00e9 des Arts D\u00e9coratifs<\/strong> transformed to the main stage for Dice Kayek<\/strong> haute couture. The elegant and iconic building, home to precious decorative artefacts, became the plinth for pivotal design that spoke to breathtaking moments through time. It was a celebration of experience, tingling the senses with texture, colour, and reminding us of the magic that happens when we immerse ourselves in luxury. Upon arrival, guests were greeted and escorted to the centre hall of the museum, a magnificent room with a sky high ceiling that was spotted with arial view points of the show. The\u00a0catwalk, a mirrored surface, divided the vast space symmetrically down a centre line, mirroring iconic ceremonies through history. At one end of the line, a great mirrored sphere hovered in mid-air like as if an all seeing eye, as the other end met with a sea of photographers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As guests were ushered in and seated, the show opened with a thunder-like boom that evoked memories of great summer storms that impress us, but also come as a luxurious respite from the midday heat. The\u00a0first look, Kayek\u2019s haute couture take on the tuxedo, floated down the catwalk like a leaf being taken\u00a0by the wind on a crisp autumn afternoon. The premiering tailored suit was followed by an army more, conjuring up memories of graceful waiters serving tables in tandem on a warm summers\u2019 night on Mediterranean coastline. A contrasting mixture of matt and shining textiles, heightened the sculptural elements of each unique suit like great architecture in the landscape. The tactile sensibility spoke to\u00a0luxury experience, like the silky textures you find in an extraordinary hotel suite, from the layers of bedding to the crispness of fresh white towels that can elevate the ordinary to extraordinary.<\/p>\n

Following down the runway, the audience was dazzled by sparkling pieces that glistened in the changing light. Glittering hues of blues and greens, were placed side by side on garments, looking like the sparkling reflections of the waters of the seaside on a mid summer\u2019s day. Models gracefully glided town the mirrored floor, like the slow moving currents of the great Aegean seas. Golds and sunset tones were introduced into the palate so we are once more transported to a glamorous setting for a cocktail evening on the beach, where perhaps shoes can be kicked off leaving the garments to speak for themselves, yet again mirroring an inspiring environment. The clouds then roll into the scene with a structured white, feather-light dress. This is the set of perfect fluffy clouds that come with the light breeze, as we soak\u00a0in the sun on the beach.<\/p>\n

At the end of this romantic journey, we are left basking in the warmth of great historical moments and fleeting memories of summertime. The collection mirrors dreamy resort life and the magic of intricate sensory detail, like vivid memories of a holiday. It echos the indulgence of 1960s cinema and glamour of the 80s. Our thoughts are left to dream on the gleaming coastline from Turkey to Croatia, where splendour awaits at any hotel from the Dogus Luxury Hotel Collection<\/strong>. Their dreamy guest experience is motivated by style and life itself, as magic is captured in every moment. Guests can marvel and immerse themselves in the breathtaking landscape that surrounds each hotel\u2019s unique property. A stay is a statement of\u00a0luxury, as each hotel is inspired by the elegance and grace of the land. \u00a0As captured in the spirit of\u00a0Dice Kayek\u2019s haute couture collection, life should be energised by our beautiful world itself.<\/p>\n
