Interior architect and entrepreneur Francesca Muzio is co-founder of FM Architettura. With over twenty years’ experience in superyacht design, Muzio is also crosses over very easily into the luxury residential and hospitality design. Her latest yacht ventures include Project 816, the 88-metre yacht built by Feadship, M/Y Oasis and its entire refit, and for 2024 M/Y NJORD, the largest private residential superyacht in the world measuring 293 metres. Francesca has designed interiors for some of the world's most important yachts and leading hotels, and her style is synonymous with the craftsmanship and attention to detail you recognise in the studio's work. Among other projects, Muzio worked alongside Renzo Piano's architectural accomplishment to design the iconic interiors at the sky-high Shangri-La Hotel, At the Shard, London, and more recently the doors opened to the new Brera Home concept in the heart of Milan. The Holy Deer San Lorenzo City Lodge in Piazza Navona in Rome is a landmark in the challenges faced with the creation of bespoke interiors, where nothing is left to chance. Francesca Muzio has received multiple industry accolades, including awards at the World Superyacht Awards 2017, and again in 2020 for the refit of M/Y Oasis. This year for the Dezeen Awards, she joins the Judge's panel to identify the worlds best architecture, interiors and design.
